Online News Media (www.ft.com)

FT - Financial Times, an international Business financial paper that also owned an online platform.

It is probably meant for the busy business people who do not really have the time to chew on the hard papers and yet need to have the most updated info at a few clicks. In the case of FT, they have both Print and Online to complement different group of needs.

The 2-column layout presented a very clean and immediate UI (user interface) for anyone who needs info. The available tools such as Search Bars; Stock Markets performance; icons or links to the different section of the Media; multimedia are just simply great!

Especially the multimedia section, I thought it was really a crowd puller! It delivers the realtime streaming video footages of interviews adding on more impact and significance to a news story.

One of the important feature of a successful Online News medium is - it must deliver accurate and timeliness content!

With their established global network and offices, businesses can relay on FT.com to feed live contents around the clock on the main pages. These factors form part of the important newsworthiness criteria that global businesses are looking for wherever they are...
